Terms of Service

What GoMatchToApply does for you, what it will never do on your behalf, and what each of us is responsible for. Plain language throughout, and the unusual parts are the ones worth reading.

In effect from 30 August 2026.

1. Who these terms are between

They are between you and GoMatchToApply, the operator of gomatchtoapply.com and the GoMatchToApply browser extension. Creating an account, or using any part of the service, means you accept them. If you do not, do not create an account.

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. One person, one account.

2. What GoMatchToApply is

GoMatchToApply finds job openings that match a resume you upload, scores them and shows you why, prepares application materials that cite evidence from your own history, and fills forms on employer application systems it supports. It keeps a tracker of what you have applied to and an inbox for the replies.

GoMatchToApply is a young product. Features may change or be withdrawn, and periods of unavailability are expected while it is being built.

3. What GoMatchToApply will never do

These are commitments, not aspirations. GoMatchToApply will not:

  • Invent an employer, a date, a degree, a certification, or a result.
  • Add a technology you have not used, or increase your years of experience.
  • Answer a question about work authorization, sponsorship, clearance, or a protected characteristic.
  • Automate LinkedIn or Indeed, or work around a CAPTCHA or a sign-in step.
  • Apply anywhere you have not named, or keep applying after you withdraw permission.
  • Promise you an interview, an offer, or a response rate.

If you find it doing any of these, that is a defect and we want to hear about it at support@rolelane.io.

4. You press submit

GoMatchToApply prepares an application and stops. On a supported employer form it fills the fields it has verified answers for, marks the ones it could not, and hands the page back to you. Nothing is sent until you review it and submit.

The exception is automatic submission, which exists only where you have granted it explicitly for a named employer system, and which you can revoke at any time. A grant is recorded with the date it was given, so it is always possible to establish what was permitted when a submission happened. Revoking a grant stops future submissions; it cannot recall an application an employer has already received.

5. Your material, and your responsibility for it

Your resume, answers and documents remain yours. You grant GoMatchToApply permission to store and process them for the purpose of providing the service to you — scoring openings, drafting materials, filling forms — and for nothing else. That permission ends when you delete the material or close your account.

You are responsible for what you send to an employer. GoMatchToApply drafts from evidence you supplied and shows you what it wrote before anything is used, but the application is yours, and so is the accuracy of every claim in it. Do not upload material you do not have the right to use.

6. Employer accounts created on your behalf

Some employers require an account before they will accept an application. Where you ask GoMatchToApply to handle that, it issues you an email address to apply with and generates a password for the portal account. The password is generated by GoMatchToApply and stored encrypted; GoMatchToApply never asks for, accepts, or stores a password you chose yourself, for any service.

Creating the account is still your action, and anything the employer requires a human for — a CAPTCHA, a verification code, a second factor — stays with you. GoMatchToApply implements no way around those and will not add one.

7. Plans, allowances and fair use

The Free plan covers 25 prepared applications a month, three target job titles and one stored resume, and does not expire. Premium is $59 a month and covers 300 prepared applications, automatic submission where you have granted it, overnight preparation, unlimited target titles and 20 stored resumes.

There is no unlimited plan and there will not be one. Every application costs something to prepare, and an unbounded allowance rewards exactly the volume-first behaviour GoMatchToApply exists to argue against. Allowances reset monthly and do not carry over.

Running out of an allowance degrades the service rather than locking you out: search, matching, the tracker and your inbox keep working, and your own data stays available to read and export.

8. Payment, renewal and cancellation

Premium is billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renews automatically until you cancel. Card details go to Stripe and never reach GoMatchToApply.

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves your Premium features in place until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are covered by the refunds and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Using it properly

You agree not to:

  • Use GoMatchToApply to apply on behalf of anyone but yourself, or to run an application service for other people.
  • Upload a resume or credentials that are not yours to use.
  • Attempt to bypass a rate limit, a plan allowance, or any access control.
  • Automate any site GoMatchToApply does not support, or use GoMatchToApply to interfere with an employer’s systems.
  • Submit applications in volumes intended to flood an employer rather than to be read.
  • Resell, scrape or redistribute the job data, scores or explanations GoMatchToApply produces.

Accounts doing any of these may be suspended. Where the misuse looks accidental we will say what is wrong before doing anything about it.

10. No promises about outcomes

GoMatchToApply makes no guarantee of an interview, an offer, a reply, or any particular response rate. Matching, scoring and drafting are done in part by an automated model, and models are wrong sometimes — which is why every score shows its reasoning and every draft is shown to you before it is used. Read what it produces before you send it.

Employer application systems change without notice. Support for any one of them may break, and GoMatchToApply may pause an integration rather than keep filling a form it can no longer fill correctly.

11. Availability and changes

The service is provided as it is, without a warranty of uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. Where a change removes something you are paying for, you may cancel and the refund policy applies.

These terms may change too. Material changes will be sent to the email address on your account before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page tells you which version you are reading.

12. Ending the agreement

You may close your account at any time from your privacy settings, which deletes your material as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why.

13. Liability

To the extent the law allows, GoMatchToApply is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost opportunities, lost employment, or the consequences of an application you submitted. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before it arose.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and disputes will be heard there. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep the rights your local law gives you.
